Frequently asked questions

Ten questions that keep arriving at our inbox, answered once and kept current. Sizes and lids first, money and site mechanics at the end.

Who maintains this catalog?

An official representative of the Tronco brand. The job is narrow on purpose: track every Tronco product that is actually in stock, list each design exactly once, and link it to its official listing - the place where the purchase itself happens.

Can I order directly from this site?

No. Nothing here has a cart or a checkout, and we never handle payment. Every "View deal" button opens the official listing at our retail partner, which owns the live price, delivery and returns. The buttons carry an affiliate tag - qualifying purchases earn us a commission at zero extra cost to you.

Which glass tumbler size should I start with?

The 20 oz with bamboo lid is the safe default - it is the most-reviewed product in the entire range at 33,000+ ratings. Pick 16 oz if that sounds like too much cup, 24-32 oz if your iced coffee order is a large with extra ice, or the two-pack of 20 oz iced coffee glasses if you want the lowest price per cup.

Is Tronco glass safe for hot drinks?

Yes - the tumblers are borosilicate glass, the same material family as lab glassware, rated for roughly -20°C to 150°C (some travel models -4°F to 300°F). Pouring hot tea into a cup that held ice five minutes ago is exactly the scenario it is built for. Only the bamboo lids ask for hand washing.

Bamboo lid, silicone lid or flip straw - what is the difference?

Bamboo lids are the classic look: splash-resistant with a silicone gasket, best for desk and home. The newer silicone lid (24 oz model) adds a straw stopper and is properly leak-proof. Flip-straw lids on the travel models seal shut for bags and cup holders. The rule of thumb: the more your cup travels, the further right you move in that list.

How current are the prices and ratings on this site?

Every figure is taken from the public official listings. Numbers move as reviews accumulate and prices change, which is why each product keeps a direct button to its listing: that page is live, this one is a record.

Where do I ask about my order, delivery or a return?

At the retailer where the purchase was completed - every transaction happens on the official listing, never here. Your order history there includes tracking, returns and product support for each item. We have no access to any order data and cannot intervene.

The store shows five colors of one tumbler. Why is it listed once here?

Because color variants share a single listing and a single review pool. Listing each color separately would show you the same cup five times with the same numbers. We keep one entry per design; the color choice lives on the official listing, one click away.

Are the kids cups fully leak-proof?

Honest answer from the manufacturer, repeated here: no. The straw valves and cross-cut tips are spill-resistant - they choke the flow when a cup tips or shakes - but a determined toddler squeezing an inverted cup will eventually win. For a true leak-proof seal, look at the flip-straw travel tumblers or the airtight food storage bowls.

Does the affiliate commission influence what gets listed?

It cannot: the catalog policy is every in-stock Tronco product, full stop, and the orderings on category pages follow review counts. The commission rate is identical for every product here, so there is no financial reason to favor one cup over another.
